ZENshops are all about working-in more than working out.
Ironically, the workout benefits are as powerful and palpable as any physical activity. In fact, Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra compliment your sport by allowing your body and mind to function more efficiently.
That’s the magic of holistic health, wellness & well-being.
We will start our ZENshop by practicing myofascial release (MFR). Every day there's a growing knowledge of our fascial system. In recent research, we've discovered that this system acts as a whole. It's a supportive, packing, joining material for our bones, muscles and joints. Think of it as a full, latex body suit, a group of myofascial chains that unite the system.

We will also hold deep, "stretchy" poses for anywhere from 3-5+ minutes. These Yin yoga asanas (poses) target both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body.

Next we will compliment these deep releases with reiki and resrotative poses. Restorative Yoga is all about rest and relaxation. We use assistance of props to allow our bodies to become fully supported, allowing our muscles, connective tissues, to surrender, maybe for the first time ever in our lives.

Finally, we will be tucked into bliss with some meditation. Yoga Nidra is a form of mindfulness meditation where one is guided through their different sheaths (layers of consciousness) to a state of being.
