In this workshop you will get those needs met, along with stretch, strength, and stress relief.
A multi-modality, therapeutics approach to Yoga can be viewed as working-in more than working out. Ironically, however, the workout benefits are as powerful and palpable as any physical activity. In fact, Yoga Therapeutics compliments your sport by allowing your body and mind to function more efficiently.

In this Therapeutics Workshop, we will explore Yoga from a therapeutics perspective, allowing experienced practitioners to deepen your practice by examining subtle shifts in your asanas (poses), while simultaneously allowing those newer to Yoga to discover the mechanics of the movements. This is a great way to customize your practice and personalize every class you attend.
We will breakdown Yang "active" poses in order to accommodate what you're needing in your body. This will build strength and stability.

We will also practice Yin Yoga asanas, by holding "stretchy" poses for anywhere from 3-5+ minutes. Yin yoga asanas (poses) target both the deep connective tissue between the muscles, and the fascia throughout your whole body.

We will use myofascial release techniques to help supplement your connective tissue health and movement, which assists with performance enhancement & recovery.

To compliment these physical modalities, we will close our workshop with a little bit of mental stress relief. Yoga Nidra is a form of mindfulness meditation where you are guided through your different sheaths (layers of consciousness) to a state of well-being.
